On September 22, 2022, DEIK Turkey-Georgia Business Council and Georgian International Investors Association President Osman Çalışkan Mzhavanadze, visited Mr. Zurab Inasaridze, head of the Sarfi customs checkpoint (Georgian side). He congratulated Mr. Zurab on his appointment and wished him success. During the meeting, the parties talked about current issues, trade and economic relations between Georgia and Turkey, problems at the Sarfi customs checkpoint and ways to solve them.

On August 23, 2022,  Chairman of the DEIK Turkey-Georgia Business Council and the International Investors Association of Georgia, Osman Chalishkan Khavanadze, Osman Chalishkan Khavanadze, visited Davit Gabaidze, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. During the meeting, the parties talked about the current issues, the deepening of Turkey-Georgia economic relations, the investment potential of Georgia, the challenges in business and the importance of attracting foreign investments. Mr. Osman thanked Mr. Davit for attending and supporting the Caucasian Folklore Festival organized by our ‘’Chveneburebi’’ (Georgians living in Turkey).

Mr. Osman congratulated Mr. Ramaz on his appointment and wished him success. During the meeting, the parties talked about the issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Georgia and Turkey, current topical issues, the investment environment of Georgia and the importance of attracting more foreign investment to the country.
