On October 25, 2022. One of the world's leading home appliance brands, Beko, celebrated its 25th anniversary in Georgia at the Sheraton Metekhi Palace in Tbilisi. Beko's 25th anniversary was attended by 700 guests, including public figures, business sector and media representatives. The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Türkiye-Georgia Business Council of DEIK and the Association of International Investors of Georgia, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze. The company started its activities in Georgia in 1997 with one store opened in Batumi, and today "Beko" has 98 trading points, 5 service centers, 800 employees and hundreds of thousands of loyal customers across the country.

On October 25, 2022. Members of the Türkiye Georgia Business Council of DEIK and the Chairman of the Turkey-Georgia Business Council and the Association of International Investors of Georgia, Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, paid a working visit to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbai. During the meeting, the parties talked about the deepening of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Georgia and Türkiye, the investment environment of Georgia and the importance of attracting foreign investments.

On October 11, 2022, meeting held between the deputy economy minister Mariam Kvrivishvili and representatives from Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines. Pegasus Airlines, a Türkiye-based budget airline, is set to launch flights between the Turkish capital of Ankara to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi starting November 2, the Georgian economy minister announced on Wednesday. The ministry announced the meeting had discussed possibilities of direct flights between Georgia and Türkiye during all four seasons. It said the sides had “expressed readiness” to continue operations to the Black Sea city of Batumi in winter with five flights per week, which it said would “further contribute to the growth of tourist flows to Adjara" region. Both airline companies are considering launching flights to Georgia's western Kutaisi international airport as well.
