Turkiye-Georgia business forum called Chveneburebi opened for the first time in Georgia with the support of the Georgian Foreign Ministry and on the initiative of the Georgian Diaspora in Turkey. "It is very gratifying for me, as a native of Georgia, to attend the forum. For every ordinary Georgian, a close connection with the homeland is important. Similar events will help deepen relations between the two friendly countries and jointly plan various projects in the future "- Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze. Over 100 Turkish businesspersons, potential investors, members of the trade-industrial chamber and representatives from the agriculture, food and tourism sectors arrived in Georgia. Participants will learn about the Georgian investment climate and economic opportunities with the aim of contributing to the attraction of investments and expansion of trade-economic cooperation between Georgians and Turks.

On June 11, 2022, representatives of the Turkish media visited Batumi. During the visit, an introductory dinner was held attended by Jaba Putkaradze, Minister of Finance and Economy of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Mikheil Koplatadze, Head of the International Tourism Development Service, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Batumi, Mr. Riza Kagan Yilmaz and local media representatives. The purpose of the meeting was to get acquainted with the media representatives of the two countries, exchange information and work together in the future. Within the framework of the visit, an info tour was organized in Batumi by the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara Autonomous Republic. The meeting was attended by the Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, The Chairman of the Türkiye -Georgia Business Council of DEIK and  International Investors Association of  Georgia  , who addressed the guests and stressed the importance of such meetings for deepening relations between the two countries.

On June 14, 2022, a seminar on "Artvin Gastronomy and Tourism Potential" was held with the support of the Khopa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Artvin Choruh University. The seminar was presented by: Yener Ogan, Lecturer at Artvin Choruh University, on "The Role of Gastronomy in the Tourism Industry", by Ceyhun Akyol, Lecturer at Artvin Choruh University, on the topic: "Artvin Charming Tourist Destinations". At the mentioned seminar Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, The Chairman of the Türkiye -Georgia Business Council of DEIK and  International Investors Association of  Georgia    made a presentation about the tourism potential of Georgia and also talked about the importance of planning various tourism activities jointly between Artvin and Batumi in the future.

On June 15, 2022, a working meeting was held at the Turkish Embassy with Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade Rıza Tuna TURAGAY. The meeting was attended by government officials, chairmen of associations and businessmen. During the meeting, they talked about current issues, Türkiye-Georgia trade and economic relations, the Georgian investment environment, the queues at the Sarpi customs checkpoint and the problems of trailer drivers. Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, The Chairman of the Türkiye -Georgia Business Council of DEIK and  International Investors Association Of  Georgia   spoke about current issues, problems at the Sarpi customs checkpoint and expressed hope that this meeting will be fruitful and will soon be eliminated.

On June 6, 2022, a representatives of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye  (DEIK) paid a working visit the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Georgia, Fatma Ceren Yazgan. During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues on the agenda and the friendly and strategic relations between Türkiye and Georgia. The Chairman of the Türkiye -Georgia Business Council of DEIK  and  International Investors Association Of  Georgia   thanked the  Ms. Fatma Ceren Yazgan   for their hospitality.

On June 6, 2022, a representatives of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye  (DEIK) visited the Osman Turan, chairman of Georgian and Turkish Businessmen Association. During the meeting, the sides discussed economic relations between Turkey and Georgia, current issues in the country, Georgia's investment climate and support for increasing foreign investment. The Chairman of the Türkiye-Georgia Business Council of DEIK  and  International Investors Association Of  Georgia   thanked the  Mr.  Osman  for their hospitality.

On June 6, 2022, a representatives of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye  (DEIK) visited the Business Ombudsman of Georgia Otar Danelia. The sides discussed Türkiye -Georgia trade and economic relations and future plans. The investment environment of Georgia and the importance of attracting foreign investments were reviewed. The Chairman of the Türkiye -Georgia Business Council of DEIK  and  International Investors Association Of  Georgia   thanked the  Mr.  Otari for their hospitality.

During the meeting, the sides discussed Türkiye -Georgia economic and trade relations, Georgia's investment environment and the importance of attracting new investments.
