David Songhulashvili, Chairman of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, and Givi Chichinadze, First Deputy Chairman of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee, together with the members of the Friendship Group with the Parliament of the Republic of Turkey, held a working meeting with Osman Chalishkan Mzhavanadze, Chairman of the Turkish-Georgian Business Council and and  International Investors Association Of  Georgia  members of the Council under the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) to discuss the friendly and partnership relations between Georgia and Turkey and the importance of strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the countries. The sides dwelt on the importance of maximizing the potential of economic cooperation in the future, which, according to them, implies increasing trade turnover between the two countries, increasing the interest of Turkish companies in Georgia, attracting investment in the country, and further strengthening sectoral cooperation
