On March 18, 2010 was held seminar of International Finance Corporation (IFC) with cooperation of International Investors Association seminar on Managing Business in Turbulent environment. Seminar was opened by IFC representative in Georgia Tomas Lubeki and The head of the international Investors association Cemal Bingingulluoglu. ”Association members are operating in different fields and in this crisis situation it will be helpful for them to get some directions and recommendations. I hope businessmen will get a lot of interesting information from this seminar” – declared Cemal Bilgingulluoglu.IFC Seminar was devoted to issues on business adaptation to new environment: were discussed instruments, based on experience of modern companies and leading expert’s recommendations. The direction of the Seminar was as an informative instruction for small business representatives. There were discussed practical examples, situation analysis, question-answer, and sharing experience between participants. Before seminar all participants got batch of materials. Seminar were attending people from the cabinet of the head of the Government, Ministry of Agriculture, Health Ministry, Ministry of Finance and Economy, International Investors Association members, general consul of Ukraine and representatives of small business. Seminar instructor Aleksandr Mertens explained company’s crisis situation and gave examples from many countries. At the end of the seminar guests had a chance to ask questions, introduce their own problematic issues and views, and received some valuable advices on how minimize costs and manage risks.
